Kokomo winery started in 2004, located at scenic Timber Crest Farms in Healdsburg California. It started with the production of a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. It focuses on Dry Creek Russian Valley and Sonoma Coast fruit with an emphasis on single vineyard wines that show a distinct terroir. They believe that their small production techniques and relationships with growers allow them to make wines that are individuals and unique.

In January 2008, they celebrated the opening of their Brand new winery Timber Crest Farms a beautiful 120 acre vineyards Dry Creek Valley, with an incorporated tasting room into their cellar visitors can enjoy a unique wine tasting experience of variety of Cabernet Sauvignon Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc.

Erik Miller Winemaker and owner Erik Miller has always had a ambition to make wines, after graduating from Purdue University he had his first opportunity to make an impression as a wine professional Winery in the Russian River Valley. Starting at ground level as a cellar worker, there was an immediate connection to the industry.

Erik began Kokomo Winery in 2004. In 2005 Erik brought on his best friend and college roommate Josh Bartels, to assist with the new winery's second vintage. With Josh on board the two upped production and increased the product line. After the 2006 harvest, Kokomo Winery moved into its own facility at Timber Crest Farms in Dry Creek Valley.
