WINE SPECTATOR
Intense, taut and grounded in a loamy, earthy minerality that gives a rich foundation for the firm, ripe wild berry, raspberry and mineral notes that are slow to develop. A bit stemmy, but persistent, teasing and tempting.

ROBERT PARKER
The 2007 Pinot Noir Eoin (100% Sonoma Stage Vineyard material planted with Calera and Swan clones, with about 25% whole clusters) exhibits copious aromas of pomegranates, black cherries, plums, and allspice interwoven with forest floor and raspberry nuances. With plenty of body, acidity, and length, it should drink well for a decade or more.

VINOUS
(fermented with 25% whole clusters; the first release for this wine) Deep ruby-red with a bright rim. Smoky black raspberry and spicecake on the nose, plus a hint of dried rose. Sweet, concentrated and tightly focused, showing an attractive blend of power and vivacity to the flavors of dark berries and baking spices. Firmly structured pinot , with strong finishing cut and lingering florality. This fruit, half Calera and half Swan clones, came from Larry Hyde's Sonoma Stage vineyard.
